Under Milk Wood: A Play for Voices is a radio play by Dylan Thomas, commissioned in 1954 by the BBC. It drifts through the houses and minds of the inhabitants of fictional small Welsh fishing village Llareggub, recounting the villagers’ innermost thoughts.
At the inaugural Three Letter Words, a book fair for artist-publishers, Performance as Publishing led a live, interactive reading of Under Milk Wood. Visitors were invited to participate, and the 76 parts were allocated as the performance progressed.
Live foley performed by Matt Lewis.
